Beirut: Minister of Culture Dr. Ghassan Salameh engaged with a delegation from the Oriental Club for Dialogue of Civilizations at the National Library in Sanayeh, where they discussed cultural initiatives aimed at enhancing Lebanon's international cultural influence. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the delegation included Father Tony Ghanem, Dr. Elie Serghani, and Mr. George Saqr, who shared insights on the club's events and initiatives. A key focus was the "Lebanon's Cedars of God to the World" initiative, set to launch in Australia under the patronage of President General Joseph Aoun. This initiative, highlighted by Dr. Serghani, aims to symbolize Lebanon's enduring presence and its message of inclusion through the planting of cedar trees, involving official, diplomatic, and religious figures from Lebanon and Australia. The delegation also briefed Minister Salameh on preparations for opening a new branch of the club in the Northern Governorate to expand cultural dialogue. At the meeting's con clusion, they presented publications on political thought and poetry, emphasizing their commitment to enriching Lebanon's cultural and intellectual landscape.
