Abu dhabi: President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, reviewed developments in the region in a phone call on Saturday, as reported by Sky News Arabia.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani the developments in the region and the repercussions of the ongoing escalation on regional and international security and stability.
During the call, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Prince Tamim bin Hamad condemned "the blatant Iranian attacks on the territories of the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and a number of sister countries," stressing that they represent "a serious escalation that threatens the security of the region and undermines its stability, and a violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations."
