Baabda: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Tuesday held a series of meetings at Baabda Palace focusing on diplomatic efforts and security developments in Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Aoun met with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Herv© Magro, with discussions covering the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as ongoing French efforts to reach solutions that would halt the escalating situation.
Aoun also received Finland's Ambassador, Anne Meskanen, who reaffirmed her country's support for Lebanon during the current crisis and its contribution to humanitarian aid for displaced people affected by Israeli attacks.
Separately, Aoun reviewed the security situation with Director General of General Security, Hassan Choucair, and his deputy, Ramzi Al-Rami, focusing on measures taken in coordination with other security apparatuses to address ongoing developments.
