MoPWT Clears Debris from Israeli Airstrike Near Airport Road to Restore Traffic

Beirut: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport's teams, immediately following the Israeli airstrike that targeted a building in the vicinity of Airport Road, carried out debris removal operations and reopened the road to traffic, after scattered rubble obstructed movement along this vital artery.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, ministry bulldozers and maintenance teams were promptly deployed to the site, where they worked to clear the debris, clean the carriageway, and remove obstacles.

The Ministry affirmed the continued readiness of its teams to respond swiftly, ensuring that the road network remains operational, particularly the routes leading to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport, given their importance as a vital lifeline for civilian movement.
