Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday discussed with Minister of Energy and Water, Joe Saddi, the ongoing discussions with Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Cyprus regarding electricity interconnection and gas imports, as well as other issues related to the electricity and fuel sectors. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on potential collaborations with neighboring countries to enhance the electricity grid and secure stable gas supplies. The discussions aim to address the pressing energy needs in the region and explore opportunities for regional cooperation in the energy sector.
