Beirut: The Higher Relief Commission announced the arrival of a significant donation from the Kingdom of Sweden on Wednesday. The shipment, transported via Turkish Airlines, includes 1,000 emergency kits, collectively weighing 687 kilograms.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the shipment was accompanied by a team from the Swedish police and was received at Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport. The reception was attended by a delegation from the Higher Relief Commission, Brigadier General Izzat Khatib, who is the representative of the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, along with officers from the Internal Security Forces.
Following the handover, the Higher Relief Commission transferred the donation to the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces, where it will be distributed following established procedures.
