Beirut: Head of the Lebanese Economic Committees, former minister Mohammad Choucair, expressed strong support for President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, after a meeting with him alongside a delegation. Choucair stated, "We tell His Excellency the President: We stand by your side."
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Choucair emphasized that President Aoun's decisions and courage have instilled hope for a better future in Lebanon. He highlighted the nation's history of wars and destruction, stressing the need to focus on building a stable and prosperous state.
The Head of the Lebanese Economic Bodies further noted the significant impact of the conflict, estimating the direct and indirect losses at between 150 and 160 million dollars per day.
