Majdal zoun: Public Health Minister, Rakan Nassereddine, on Wednesday strongly condemned what he described as a "heinous crime" following the direct targeting of Lebanese Civil Defense medics during a rescue mission in Majdal Zoun.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Minister said the incident reflects a broader pattern of attacks on Lebanon's resilience, noting that the number of health sector fatalities has risen to 103 since March 2, and described it as a violation of international conventions, including the Geneva Conventions protecting medical personnel.
Nassereddine called on international organizations to break their silence and stressed that Lebanon is documenting violations to build a case for international accountability.
