Moscow: General Security Director Maj. Gen. Hassan Choucair took part in the International Security Forum in Moscow from May 25 to 28, 2026, where he held a series of meetings with senior Russian officials and institutions.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Choucair's talks included meetings with representatives of Russia's Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Rosoboronexport, Deputy Interior Minister Igor Zubov, National Guard Deputy Director Maj. Gen. Yuri Averin, and Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergey Naryshkin.
Discussions during these meetings focused on bilateral cooperation as well as developments in the Middle East and Europe. The engagements underscored the importance of collaboration between Lebanon and Russia in addressing regional and international security challenges.
