Beirut: Fuel prices in Lebanon fell on Tuesday, with 95- and 98-octane gasoline decreasing by LBP 13,000 per tank, diesel by LBP 15,000, and household gas cylinders by LBP 28,000.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the new prices are set as follows: 95-octane gasoline is now priced at LBP 2,207,000, while 98-octane gasoline costs LBP 2,225,000. The price for diesel stands at LBP 1,780,000, and gas cylinders are priced at LBP 1,099,000.
The reduction in fuel prices is expected to offer some relief to consumers amid the ongoing economic challenges in the country. The adjustment comes as part of routine pricing updates that reflect changes in the global oil market and local economic conditions.
