Tyre: The Emergency Operations Center at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health announced in a statement that the Israeli enemy airstrikes that targeted the vicinity of Jabal Amel Hospital in Tyre on Monday, June 1, resulted in four martyrs and 127 injuries, including 39 members of the hospital's medical, nursing, and administrative staff.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the casualties among the hospital staff include four doctors, 27 nurses, and eight employees, four of whom are in critical condition and receiving treatment in intensive care. The attack also caused extensive and severe damage to the hospital's various floors and departments as well as the parking lot.
The Ministry of Public Health commended the bravery of the hospital administration and staff, who insisted on keeping the facility open and continuing their humanitarian and medical mission despite unprecedented threats and violence.
