Beirut: Israeli warplanes and drones conducted a series of targeted attacks on several towns in southern Lebanon, causing significant damage and raising tensions in the region. The town of Khirbet Selm in the Al-Ain region was hit by a raid involving two missiles fired by Israeli warplanes this evening.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, earlier today, an Israeli drone targeted the town of Kawthariyat al-Sayyed. In the western sector, Israeli occupation forces demolished several houses in the town of Majdal Zoun, escalating the situation further.
The town of Blat in the Marjeyoun district also came under artillery shelling by Israeli forces, alongside attacks on the towns of Qatrani in the Jezzine region and the outskirts of Zlaya and Qlaya in the Western Bekaa. The aggressive military actions have heightened concerns over regional stability.
Furthermore, Israeli warplanes targeted the town of Deir Qanoun al-Nahr, firing two missiles and contributing to the growing list of affected areas. The recent spate of attacks underscores the volatile nature of the current security situation in southern Lebanon.
