Beirut: Touch announced that it has begun repairing damage affecting 30 transmission stations across southern Lebanon, following directives and close supervision from Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajj.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, working under security escort from the Lebanese Armed Forces, the company’s technical teams carried out maintenance works and refueled generators to gradually restore services across stations in Nabatieh, Tyre, Marjayoun, Bint Jbeil, Jezzine, and Zahrani districts.
The repairs covered 10 stations in the Nabatieh area, two in Zahrani, two in Marjayoun, two in Bint Jbeil, two in Jezzine, and 12 in the Tyre district, including several urban and coastal locations.
Touch thanked the Lebanese Army for facilitating access to the affected sites and acknowledged the support of local municipalities. The company said restoration work in other southern areas will continue as security conditions permit, in coordination with the army.
