Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam mourned the former Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, offering condolences to Qatar's leadership and people.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a post on the platform "X," Salam expressed his sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the State of Qatar, its leadership, and its people over the passing of Sheikh Hamad. He emphasized the lasting impact the late Emir had on the Lebanese people, highlighting his political and humanitarian support during Lebanon's challenging times and his efforts in promoting stability.
Salam further extended his condolences to Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. He prayed for God's mercy upon the late leader and wished patience and solace to the people of Qatar.
