Rifi Threatens Boycott Over Sheikh Ahmad Al-Asir’s Case

Beirut: MP Ashraf Rifi has announced his intention to boycott upcoming general amnesty sessions unless the perceived injustices against Sheikh Ahmad Al-Asir and his associates are addressed. Rifi expressed his stance on the "X" platform, highlighting the plight of those he believes have been wrongfully treated.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Rifi criticized the current amnesty sessions, questioning the logic of releasing individuals involved in drug-related crimes while failing to address the cases of what he describes as oppressed men and religious figures. In his statement, Rifi emphasized his disapproval of the current approach, labeling it as disgraceful and a form of abandonment.
