Beirut: U.S. media reported that Washington is preparing for potential large-scale military operations against Iran by reinforcing its air presence in the Middle East, including the deployment of fighter jets and aerial refueling aircraft from Europe, Russia's RIA Novosti reported.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, The Washington Post, citing a U.S. official, said the United States was expanding its military presence in the region as part of preparations for possible operations against Iran. The report highlighted the strategic movements of military resources as tensions escalate.
The report also cited U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) as saying two American soldiers were killed in Jordan, where unidentified human remains were later found at the same site, while another U.S. soldier was killed in Iraq in what it described as an Iranian drone strike. The incidents underscore the volatile situation in the region and the potential for further conflict.
