Iran Foreign Ministry Criticizes US-Saudi Strikes in Iraq

Beirut: Iran's foreign ministry on Wednesday condemned U.S.-Saudi strikes in Iraq, stating that such attacks were part of U.S.-Israeli efforts to escalate the conflict in the region.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Iranian ministry described the attacks as aligned with the ambitions of the United States and the Zionist regime to widen the scope of war and conflict in the West Asian region. The ministry's statement labeled these actions as a "gross violation" of the U.N. Charter and international law.
