Haykal Reaffirms Commitment to Reclaim Occupied Territories on Army Day

Beirut: Lebanese Army Commander, General Rodolphe Haykal, inspected today the South Litani Sector Command at Benoit Barakat Barracks in Tyre, the 5th Infantry Brigade in Shawakir - Tyre, and the 5th Intervention Regiment in Kfardounine, reviewing operational conditions and missions carried out in their areas of responsibility.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during his tour, the Army Chief met with officers and soldiers and congratulated them on Army Day, expressing appreciation for their efforts and dedication. He said their sacrifices, driven by their commitment and belief in their mission, are invaluable.

Emphasizing the importance of maintaining strong determination among military personnel, Haykal said Lebanon draws its strength from the army and that the success of the military institution depends on the collective efforts of all its units and members.

"We believe that every inch of our land is our right, and we reject the continuation of the Israeli occupation of any part of our territory. The sacrifices of our martyrs and wounded will not be in vain, and we will continue to stand by our people and support their return, regardless of the challenges," Haykal underscored.

"We believe in one united and indivisible homeland, defended by one army that protects its borders and ensures its stability," the Army Chief asserted.
