Beirut: National News Agency correspondent reported that a Civil Defense team attempting to extinguish a fire in Deir Mimes came under fire from the Israeli enemy.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Civil Defense team from the Qlaiaa center, after receiving approval from the relevant department, headed to Deir Mimes to extinguish a fire that broke out this afternoon along the Litani River, extending to the Marjeyoun-Khardali road.
While the team was working to extinguish the fire, enemy forces opened fire on the Civil Defense personnel, without causing any injuries. This forced them to withdraw from the area for their safety. A similar incident occurred last night when enemy forces fired three shells in the vicinity of a Civil Defense team while they were cooling the ground after extinguishing a fire. This also forced the personnel to halt their work and withdraw.
