Beirut: Mufti Ahmad Qabalan said that the "political killing game" is clear, exposed and dangerous, warning against attempts to undermine national sacrifices.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in a statement marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad's birth, Qabalan stressed that those who deny or disregard the sacrifices made in defense of the nation are, in effect, denying Lebanon itself.
He called for preserving national unity and recognizing the sacrifices made for Lebanon, stressing the need to confront political divisions and threats to the country's stability.
