Beirut: Higher Relief Commission Secretary-General Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi and UNRWA Affairs Director in Lebanon Dorothee Klaus have officially signed a letter of understanding for a significant grant involving approximately 2,000 tons of wheat flour. This initiative is a crucial step towards enhancing food security and providing support to the most vulnerable communities in the region.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the signing ceremony was held at the commission's office and was attended by Issam Abu Jaoudeh, the Director General of the Cereals and Sugar Beet Office at the Ministry of Economy and Trade. The substantial grant is aimed at assisting Lebanese and Palestinian families who are in dire need of aid.
The agreement is part of the ongoing cooperative efforts between the Higher Relief Commission and UNRWA.
