Beirut: Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Al-Bsat met with a delegation from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to discuss ongoing cooperation between the Ministry and the Corporation. The delegation included outgoing Regional Director Khawaja Aftab Ahmed and incoming Regional Director Thomas Jacobs.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Bsat expressed his gratitude for the efforts of the outgoing Regional Director, acknowledging his contributions to the collaboration between the Ministry and IFC. He also extended a warm welcome to the new Regional Director, wishing him success in his new position.
Al-Bsat reiterated the Ministry's commitment to maintaining and strengthening its partnership with the IFC. The focus remains on supporting Lebanon's economic reform and development initiatives.
