Interior Minister Hajjar Discusses Citizen Transactions, Civil Defense Readiness

Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar received Judge John Qazzi, head of the Cases Authority at the Justice Ministry, in the presence of Acting Director General of Personal Status Rodina Meraab. Discussions focused on mechanisms for cooperation and coordination between the two sides, particularly in relation to citizens' transactions and ways to accelerate their processing. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hajjar also met Civil Defense Director General Brigadier General Imad Khreish, who briefed him on missions carried out by Civil Defense personnel in intervention, rescue, and emergency response operations. The meeting also addressed ongoing efforts to strengthen preparedness and ensure rapid response capabilities across different regions.
