Foreign Minister Raggi Receives New French, Nigerian Ambassadors, Reviews Bilateral Ties

Beirut: Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Minister Youssef Raggi received newly appointed French Ambassador to Lebanon Patrick Durel on a protocol visit, during which the ambassador presented a copy of his credentials. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on Lebanese-French relations and ways to further strengthen cooperation across political, economic, and cultural fields, while highlighting France's longstanding role in supporting Lebanon throughout key periods. Raggi reaffirmed Lebanon's commitment to strengthening its historic friendship with France and wished Durel success in his mission.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the foreign minister also received newly appointed Nigerian Ambassador Wasa Segin Eje, who presented a copy of his credentials. Raggi wished him success in his new diplomatic mission in Lebanon.
