Beirut: President of the Republic General Joseph Aoun was briefed on Thursday by Minister of Energy and Water Joe Saddi on the outcomes of his talks on electricity, oil, and gas issues with Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Trkiye, Qatar, and Cyprus, as well as these countries' positions on the proposals put forward by Lebanon. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Joe Saddi provided an overview of the discussions held with the neighboring and regional countries concerning the energy sector. These talks focused on strategic collaborations in electricity, oil, and gas, aiming to enhance Lebanon's energy infrastructure and resources. The meetings also addressed the response of these countries to Lebanon's proposals, which are intended to foster regional cooperation and development in the energy domain. Minister Saddi's briefing to President Aoun also covered the potential impacts of these discussions on Lebanon's energy policy. The engagements with these countries are part of a broader strategy to secure s ustainable energy resources and create a cooperative framework for addressing regional energy challenges.
