Minister Refers Mkaless Flooding Incident to Prosecution, Halts Contractor Work

Mkaless:The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has taken action following the flooding in the Mkaless area, with Minister Fayez Rasamny filing a report to the Cassation Public Prosecution. This report requests investigations to ascertain responsibility and hold accountable any parties found negligent. According to National news agency - Lebanon, the ministry emphasized that the investigation will extend to all involved parties, including the contractor, supervising consultant, and any other responsible entities. As a preventive measure, the ministry has suspended awarding new projects to the implicated contractor and consultant until the investigation concludes and responsibilities are clarified. All relevant documents and technical reports have been submitted to the judiciary.
