Beirut:The Internal Security Forces' Information Branch has apprehended a suspect accused of throwing stones at vehicles on the road leading to Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the suspect has confessed to the act, and ongoing investigations are being conducted under the supervision of the competent judiciary to uncover the full circumstances and motives behind the incident.
Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar stated that the ISF will continue to implement necessary security measures around the airport road. Monitoring efforts will be intensified to prevent similar incidents and ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians.
