Beirut:The Ministry of Information and the National Anti-Corruption Commission will hold a press conference on Monday, September 28, to commemorate the International Day for Universal Access to Information. The event aims to highlight the role of access to information in enhancing transparency, accountability, and public access to information.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Information Minister Dr. Paul Morcos and National Anti-Corruption Commission President Judge Claude Karam will participate in the event, which will take place at noon at the Commission's headquarters in Beirut.
The conference will focus on the significance of access to information and will review initiatives designed to strengthen the implementation of the law in Lebanon. Additionally, it will include the launch of an interactive dashboard prepared by the Commission, which will present monitoring results on the compliance of ministries and relevant public administrations with Lebanon's Access to Information Law.
