Beirut:Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani is visiting Iraq to enhance the export of Lebanese apples and improve access to the Iraqi market.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Hani's 24-hour visit includes meetings with his Iraqi counterpart and major importers of Lebanese agricultural products. The discussions aim to address import requirements and foster stronger relationships between Lebanese exporters and Iraqi importers.
The visit will also tackle issues related to financial transfers from Iraq to Lebanon, which affect the payments to Lebanese exporters.
