Beirut:MP Ibrahim Kanaan expressed his support on X for President Joseph Aoun's stance on direct negotiations and the framework agreement. Kanaan emphasized the importance of strengthening the Lebanese Army's capabilities and preserving its role, describing Aoun's position as "constitutional, national, and responsible."
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Kanaan highlighted that Aoun's approach currently stands as the only viable option for Lebanon to restore stability, state authority, and sovereignty over its territory and institutions. He challenged others to propose practical solutions if they disagreed, urging them to back the president's position for the benefit of the people and the country.
