Beirut:A group of MPs will hold a press conference at 11:30 am on Monday, October 5, to discuss the necessity of reviewing UN Security Council Resolution 2790 and to advocate for the continued presence of UNIFIL in the South.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the press conference is a follow-up to a letter signed by 86 MPs. The letter highlights the risks associated with the potential withdrawal of UNIFIL and developments related to the resolution's implementation.
The conference is intended to prepare for the submission of an additional legal memorandum to the relevant authorities. This initiative takes place ahead of the upcoming Security Council meeting, which will address the situation in the Middle East and its broader implications.
