Tehran:Iran's Foreign Ministry has called in Norwegian Ambassador to Tehran, Paul Bjørnstad, to express its dissatisfaction over what it claims is Norway's lack of action regarding unauthorized Starlink satellite internet operations within Iran.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, Iranian Foreign Ministry official Reza Hosseini-Nejad accused the United States and Israel of using Starlink for "interventionist activities" against Iran during the meeting. He emphasized that Norway, as the country under which Starlink is registered with the International Telecommunication Union, has a responsibility to stop unauthorized transmissions into Iran.
Tehran presented the ambassador with a formal protest note, though there has been no immediate response from Norway.
