Riyadh:Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received a phone call from European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the conversation covered cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the European Union, alongside discussions on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
They addressed the recent attack by the Houthi militia on King Khalid International Airport, which Kallas condemned on behalf of the EU. She emphasized that indiscriminate attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure are indefensible.
Kallas expressed the EU's solidarity with Saudi Arabia, offering condolences to the victims' families and wishing a swift recovery to those injured. She also emphasized the importance of containing regional escalations and highlighted maritime defense cooperation to secure regional waterways.
