Manama:Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, has inaugurated the Khadija Wife of Haji Hassan Al Aali Breast Health Unit at Salmaniya Medical Complex. The event was attended by Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan and other senior health officials.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the unit was established with support from Najah Al Aali in memory of her late mother, Khadija, and to honor her late father’s humanitarian legacy.
Dr. Shaikh Mohammed emphasized the importance of expanding specialized healthcare services and strengthening community partnerships to improve patient care. Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, CEO of Government Hospitals, stated that the new unit would enhance breast health services for women, ensuring care that respects their privacy and meets their needs.
Najah Al Aali expressed that the initiative reflects her family's longstanding commitment to humanitarian work and community service. She added her hopes to continue her parents' legacy through sustainable initiatives that benefit Bahrain and its people.
