Beirut:Prime Minister Nawaf Salam chaired a comprehensive Cabinet session, bringing together key government officials including Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Tarek Mitri. The meeting was also attended by a diverse group of ministers representing various sectors.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the session included Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, Culture Minister Ghassan Salamé, Defense Minister Michel Menassa, and Tourism Minister Laura Khazen. Social Affairs Minister Haneen Sayed and Economy and Trade Minister Amer Bisat were also present, along with Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Hajjar and Justice Minister Adel Nassar.
The session was further attended by Telecommunications Minister Charles Hajj, Youth and Sports Minister Nora Bayrakdarian, Education and Higher Education Minister Rima Karami, and Administrative Development Minister Fadi Makki. Labor Minister Mohammad Haidar, Public Works and Transport Minister Fayez Rasamny, Agriculture Minister Nizar Hani, Information Minister Paul Morcos, Environment Minister Tamara El Zein, and Public Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine were also present.
Additionally, the meeting included Presidency Director General Dr. Antoine Choucair and Cabinet Secretary-General Judge Mahmoud Makkiyeh, highlighting the engagement of senior government officials in the session.
