Beirut: MP Bilal Abdallah announced on his "X" platform account that he recently engaged in discussions with Latvia's Health Minister, Dr. Hussam Abu Merhi. The meeting, which was also attended by the Latvian Consul in Lebanon, Mr. Gerard Renault, focused on enhancing the political, parliamentary, and health-related relations between Lebanon and Latvia. Dr. Abu Merhi, originally from Ketermaya, visited Abdallah in a gesture aimed at fostering stronger bilateral ties.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussion highlighted the mutual interest in fortifying connections between the two nations. The meeting underscored a commitment to collaboration and the exploration of opportunities that could benefit both countries in various sectors, particularly in health and governance.
