The Jordanian Islamic Zakat Advocacy Committee for the Palestinian People said Monday it has sent hundreds of tons of food and health aid to the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), since the start of the Israeli war. The committee pledged in a statement to continue its relief operations "to alleviate the suffering of the people of Gaza and support their steadfastness in the face of the brutal aggression." It commended JHCO for extending a helping hand to the people in Gaza and easing their suffering, expressing its appreciation to Jordanians for generous donations. Source:Jordan News Agency
