Rmeish: An aid convoy carrying humanitarian assistance was dispatched Sunday to the border villages of Rmeish, Debel, Ain Ebel, and Qaouzah under the direction of the head of the South Council, Hashem Haidar, as part of efforts to support residents remaining in their homes in southern Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the convoy, which included essential food supplies, was prepared at the Union of Municipalities of Tyre District in the presence of Union President Hassan Dbouk, South Council Office Director Hassan Hani, and the council's relief team. Hani stated that the council is working to secure assistance for both displaced residents and those still living in their villages. He added that the aid convoy to the border villages includes basic food parcels that will reach around 2,400 families.
Lebanese Army units are providing support so the aid is distributed directly to residents in an effort to ease their hardships and reinforce their resilience in their border communities.
