Al-Hajjar Instructs Immediate Reinforcement of Security Measures

Beirut: Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar has conducted a series of urgent phone calls, directing key security officials to bolster security measures and ensure a rapid emergency response. The communications involved Major General Riad Abdullah, General Director of Internal Security Forces; Brigadier General Mahmoud Qobrosli, Head of the Information Branch; Major General Hassan Choucair, General Director of General Security; Brigadier General Imad Khreish, General Director of Civil Defense, as well as various governors to assess the current security situation and recent field developments.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Minister Hajjar issued directives to immediately enhance security deployment on the ground, particularly at hospital entrances. He emphasized the importance of facilitating traffic movement for ambulances, civil defense, and fire brigade vehicles, ensuring they can respond swiftly to emergencies and rescue operations. The Minister also highlighted the necessity for ongoing, precise coordination among the various concerned units to monitor developments closely and in real-time.
