Baghdad The head of the Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, affirmed that Iraq is a sovereign country, and the effort to impose a fait accompli on it is doomed to failure.
Al-Hakim said in a tweet: “Achieving peace in the region and the world comes through the interaction of countries among themselves in accordance with international charters and cooperation based on the foundations of mutual relations and common interests, and in what the countries of the region, especially Iraq, have full sovereignty.”
He added, “Any attempt to impose a fait accompli policy is doomed to failure,” calling on “the neighboring regional countries to deal with Iraq as an independent country with full sovereignty and in no way allow its sovereignty or its lands to be violated.”
