Bikfaya: Head of the Lebanese Press Syndicate, Joseph Al-Kosseifi, visited former President Amin Gemayel at his residence in Bikfaya. The meeting focused on the importance of national reconciliation in Lebanon's current political climate.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, during their discussion, President Gemayel emphasized the "necessity of national reconciliation because it is the key to peace in Lebanon," adding that peace is essential to unite all groups and sects in order to rescue Lebanon from its ongoing difficulties. Gemayel further stated, "Today, we are in dire need of a unifying discourse, convergent leadership, and inclusive authorities, because this responsibility is collective and national, not individual nor partisan nor factional."
Gemayel expressed his support for President Joseph Aoun in any initiative aimed at achieving comprehensive national reconciliation. He stressed the importance of a national gathering that brings about unity and peace.
For his part, Al-Kosseifi praised President Amin Gemayel's call for national reconciliation, noting its timely relevance in light of the challenges Lebanon has faced.
