(Al-Sayeh) reviews with the Japanese Ambassador to Libya ways to support efforts aimed at completing municipal elections

Tripoli: The Japanese Ambassador to Libya, Shimura Izuru, affirmed his country's support for the choices and aspirations of the Libyan people to cross this stage and move towards a future of peace and stability. Izuru expressed his appreciation during a meeting with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, with him today, Sunday, in Tripoli, the Commission's efforts and tireless pursuit to achieve free and fair elections that reflect the will of the voter. The meeting, which was held in the office of the Commission's Council in the presence of its Council Member, Abu Bakr Marada, reviewed the latest developments in the Libyan political scene, and ways to support efforts aimed at completing the current municipal elections.
