The Lebanese Army Command on Wednesday announced via its Twitter account that Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, had received Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, and lauded the role of the Lebanese Army, especially amid the prevailing delicate stage. The Egyptian President mainly praised the Army’s endeavors to ensure security and stability in Lebanon.
In turn, General Aoun thanked President Al-Sisi for “Egypt’s continued support for Lebanon and the Lebanese army.”
