Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, on Friday chaired a significant meeting at Baabda Palace with key judicial figures, including Minister of Justice Adel Nassar, President of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Suhail Abboud, and other prominent judicial leaders. The gathering was also attended by Director General of the Presidency Dr. Antoine Choucair and other legal advisors.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was centered on evaluating the state of judicial institutions in preparation for the upcoming judicial year, which is set to begin in mid-September. Discussions also focused on potential judicial reforms aimed at enhancing the efficiency and integrity of the judicial system.
In addition to the meeting, President Aoun received Lebanon's newly appointed ambassador to the United States, Nada Hamadeh Moawad. Ambassador Moawad expressed her gratitude to President Aoun and the Cabinet for entrusting her with this role before she departs for Washington to undertake her new responsibilities.
President Aoun extended his best wishes to Ambassador Moawad, underlining the importance of fortifying Lebanese-American relations and advocating for Lebanon's interests on the international stage.
