Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Thursday continued his diplomatic meetings to explain Lebanon's position regarding Israeli attacks and the recent Cabinet decisions. Aoun met successively with UAE Charg© d'Affaires Mohammed Shaheen Al-Ghafri, Kuwait's Charg© d'Affaires Counselor Abdulaziz Humaidan Al-Dalh, and Oman's Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saeedi.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the diplomats from the UAE, Kuwait, and Oman affirmed their countries' solidarity with Lebanon and its people in the current difficult circumstances. They expressed their support for Lebanon's sovereignty, independence, and legitimacy, highlighting the importance of regional stability and cooperation.
President Aoun's meetings are part of a broader diplomatic effort to rally international support for Lebanon amidst ongoing regional tensions. The engagements underscore the significance of diplomatic dialogue in addressing geopolitical challenges and fostering mutual understanding among neighboring nations.
