Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Wednesday met with Minister of Public Health Dr. Rakan Nasreddine, who briefed him on the country's healthcare situation and the ministry's efforts to expand medical and pharmaceutical coverage and update treatment protocols by over 400%. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting was part of ongoing efforts to address the healthcare needs in the country. Dr. Nasreddine outlined initiatives aimed at significantly increasing medical and pharmaceutical coverage, aiming to enhance accessibility and affordability for citizens. The proposed updates to treatment protocols are expected to be a major part of the ministry's strategy to improve healthcare services.
