Baabda: President Joseph Aoun received the head of Lebanon's Economic Bodies and former minister Mohamed Choucair at Baabda Palace. Following their meeting, Choucair commended the President's management of national issues, noting positive signs in the economy such as new investments and startups.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Choucair stressed the necessity for a strong banking sector to aid economic recovery. He highlighted the 'significant Arab presence in Lebanon' and expressed hope for the return of Saudi nationals soon.
Choucair expressed optimism regarding the overall economic outlook and welcomed forthcoming reform legislation aimed at enhancing growth and boosting investor confidence.
