Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Monday received the credentials of the newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon, Michel Issa, who conveyed the greetings of U.S. President Donald Trump and Washington's commitment to strengthening and expanding American-Lebanese relations across all fields. President Aoun wished Ambassador Issa success in his diplomatic mission.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting underscored the significance of the bilateral relations between the United States and Lebanon. Ambassador Issa expressed his eagerness to work on enhancing cooperation in various sectors, reflecting the mutual interests of both nations.
