Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Friday was briefed by Central Bank Governor, Karim Saeed, on meetings held in Paris last week, including discussions with the International Monetary Fund and the French Treasury ahead of the Fund's Spring Meetings in April 2026.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Saeed outlined key points from the talks, stressing the importance of continued coordination with international partners and a balanced, realistic approach to the next phase.
The President also reviewed precautionary measures adopted by the central bank, emphasizing efforts to preserve monetary stability and ensure the financial system continues to operate efficiently under current conditions.
