Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Thursday received Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, with discussions focusing on the general situation in the country and developments in southern Lebanon in particular, amid continued Israeli attacks and the destruction and demolition of homes and properties in several villages and towns.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the two officials also discussed the visit of General Joseph Clearfield, head of the Military Coordination Group for Lebanon (MCG4L). Aoun and Salam also reviewed the items on the agenda of Thursday's Cabinet session at the Grand Serail.
